Why donate to TheologyWebsite.com?

Since 1998, TheologyWebsite and Quodlibet Journal have striven to provide scholarly content to the online theological community. Quodlibet Online Journal of Christian Theology and Philosophy is an unrivalled online project offering quarterly publications of numerous articles on a wide spectrum of theological issues. There currently exists no online theological publication approaching its scope in breadth and content. Every issue and every article has always remained free to any seeking such resources.

TheologyWebsite is an online resource aimed at providing students, faculty and laymen with exposure to a broad range of topics and ideas relevant to theological study. The site offers an ever-growing collection of theological, biblical and historical study guides and sermon collection which over the years have aided students, Bible Study leaders, college faculty, and clergy. In this regard, TheologyWebsite appears regularly in college syllabi as a required or recommended resource for supplemental course reading and exposure. TheologyWebsite also has a robust Internet Resource Index, a dynamic collection of nearly 1000 internet sites related to theology and philosophy. For those seeking some real interaction, we have had a long running Discussion Forum with over 800 registered participant. We are proud that our Forum maintains an open-minded and academic approach to theological discussion.

Up until April 2003, when we began accepting donations, these projects have been funded out of pocket by myself, the site administrator. Currently a doctoral student and college faculty myself, I have no doubt that the mission pursued by these sites is continually important as young and old search for theological information of the web, whether it be to prepare for acadmic endeavours or to investigate things they have heard from others. It has been and remains exciting to watch these sites slowly yet steadily grow into reliable and well-used oases along the information highway.

These sites will no doubt continue to exist though no one choose to help support us. However, even the smallest gift goes a long way to help up cover the costs incurred through monthly web hosting fees and the cost of site components such as the Discussion Forum. Please know your help is greatly appreciated and should be viewed as money spent toward maintaining a publicly accessible project aimed at providing theological education in a open and non-intimidating environment. Whether you choose to help or not, please feel fully welcomed here as we all watch the sites' purpose unfold.
