God Smokes A Pipe

You know He does.

After watching you monkeys frantically run around all day, every day, its no wonder He settles down with a chosen few of the Angelic Host and lights up a fragrant bowl of heavenly herb.

But I'm sure He has one of those really cool divine pipes which allows Him to freely type with both Hands.

I doubt He smokes a pipe. That would suggest, would it not, that He is perplexed at the antics of some of his created beings, especially those who should know better. But do we perplex God? Hard to imagine.

In fact, I think the pipe scenario is unlikely, since it doesn't fit with One who loves parties and joyous celebrations at lost ones coming home. Pipe smokers are more likely philosophers, not high-action, party types. And the Father is clearly one who loves a good celebration.

Avi, you crack me up.

God not only smokes a pipe but also has a HUGE burgundy leather chair in which he sits and contemplates mind-boggling thoughts. And I'm sure there's a small table besides that chair stacked with infinitely-paged books on the latest theories of quantum physic upgrades to the universe. Heck, He might even be writing some free-verse poetry for us to read when we get up there.

God is indeed Love. But He is undoubtedly Love of All Things He Deems Good. Fallen humanity, though undoubtedly central in salvation history, is hardly the limit of his Personal Capability and Enjoyment, in my humble opinion.

And that pipe has got to be like 200 or 300 feet long! :P

A Pipe?....Please, we are referring to the ALLMIGHTY. Everybody knows God smokes cigars....the Fuente Fuente OpusX of course. You are correct about the leather chair though. ;)

He smokes Cuban cigars. Embargo? He doesn't follow no stinkin' embargo!
