I. GOD BEARS OUR DAILY BURDENS: Protection = v.19
   A. The Means
      1. Spiritual interaction with God Himself
      2. Understanding how God has moved in the past
      3. Reliance upon His provision: i.e., FAITH!
   B. The Results
      1. Protection: Prayers are answered
         a. for ourselves:
         b. for others: Illustrate
      2. Faith is strengthened as a member of God's community

II. GOD SAVES US FROM DEATH: Meaning = v.20
   A. Negative Implications (We do/have not....)
      1. We are not subject to Nihilism. (grunge music's characteristic skepticism)
      2. We are not  overly influenced by the times.(generation X's search for self)
   B. Positive Implications
      1. Meaning 
      2. Hope

Conclusion:
   A. We need to understand our situation. (In this case, ignorance is not bliss!)
   B. We need to open up our lives to God through Petition & Praise.
   C. We need to tell the world of the truth we have found. (68:32-35)
